Welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation at the airport, on the Chinese side were Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Nong Dung; Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba, Director of the Protocol Department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. On the Vietnamese side, there were Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, officials and staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in China. Representatives of the Vietnamese community in China waved flags and flowers to welcome Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation.

This is Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's first official visit to China, and also the first official visit by a Vietnamese Prime Minister to China in the past 7 years, continuing the regular exchanges and contacts between senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries in recent times.

Immediately after arriving in Beijing, China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the Vietnamese Embassy in China and met with the Vietnamese community there.

Tomorrow, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the official welcoming ceremony, hold talks and witness the signing ceremony.
During his official visit to China, the Prime Minister met with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Chairman of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji; met with friendly intellectuals and dignitaries; received a number of prominent Korean businesses, attended the Vietnam-China business forum; and visited the Xiong'an New Area.

During his visit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the WEF Tianjin - the second largest conference after the WEF Davos (Switzerland). This year's conference has the theme "Enterprises: Driving Forces of the Global Economy" with more than 100 sessions.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is one of four key government leaders, including Barbados’ Mia Mottley, Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erden, and New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins, invited to attend the conference. The conference also attracted the participation of more than 1,000 businesses from around the world.
