On the afternoon of October 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received leaders of four leading UAE corporations in the fields of infrastructure, seaports, logistics, industrial parks, transportation, and strategic consulting.
Leaders of the corporations attending the meeting included Mr. Tamer Wagih Salem, Chairman of Prime Group; Mr. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, General Director of Abu Dhabi Ports Group (ADPG); Mr. Neils De Bruijn, Director of NDMC; Mr. Khaled Al Shemeili, Director of Emirates Car Company.
Call for attracting investment in infrastructure, energy and technology
At the meeting, leaders of the above corporations introduced their strengths, affirmed that Vietnam is a very potential place for cooperation and investment, and presented plans and cooperation projects with Vietnamese partners, including VinGroup. Abu Dhabi Ports will open a representative office in Vietnam.
Appreciating the results achieved, the Prime Minister expressed his support and welcomed the cooperation plan with VinGroup. This is a smart choice with a strategic vision, hoping that the cooperation between the two sides will continue to be expanded to further promote economic relations between the two countries in the coming time.
The Prime Minister said that Vietnam is promoting three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure and human resources. Among them, strategic transport infrastructure, especially airports, seaports and highways, is being developed; he suggested that Abu Dhabi Ports and NDMC corporations study and promote cooperation and investment in this field.
In particular, he said that Vietnam has more than 3,000km of coastline and a strategic location, seaports are a strength of Vietnam. Currently, there are a number of large ports being deployed and built such as Lach Huyen (Hai Phong), Lien Chieu (Da Nang), Cai Mep - Thi Vai, Can Gio port (Ho Chi Minh City)...
At the same time, the Prime Minister encouraged corporations to research and promote cooperation in digital transformation and green transformation. Such as cooperation between VinFast and Emirates Driving in electric vehicle production; innovation; emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Internet of Things, etc.
The Prime Minister also welcomed NDMC to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese partners such as the Oil and Gas Group in the fields of gas exploitation, offshore wind power development, and implementation of sea reclamation projects.
Accordingly, he suggested that Prime Group with its extensive network of partners will be a bridge to bring reputable and potential investors to cooperate in investment and business in Vietnam in the near future.

Introducing Vietnamese agricultural products to the Middle East
Receiving Mr. MA Yusuff Ali, Chairman of Lulu Group - a large supermarket chain operating globally, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked and appreciated Lulu Group for being a bridge to introduce quality Vietnamese products to consumers in the Middle East as well as other countries.
In 2024, Vietnam is expected to achieve an agricultural export turnover of about 60 billion USD and is promoting the production and export of agricultural products in the direction of "delicious and clean food" at reasonable prices.
Therefore, the Prime Minister suggested that Lulu Group continue to promote and introduce more potential Vietnamese products, on the basis of organizing a Vietnamese agricultural products festival every quarter in the Middle East region.
