Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offers incense at the Temple of Vice President Nguyen Sinh Sac at the Nguyen Sinh Sac Historical and Cultural Relic Site in Cao Lanh City.

Also attending were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy; leaders of several ministries, branches and Dong Thap province.

The Prime Minister and the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, the person who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh, a world cultural celebrity, a great national liberation hero, and an outstanding leader of the Party, State and people. The Prime Minister and the delegation vowed to do their best for a strong and prosperous Vietnam and for the people to be increasingly prosperous and happy.

Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site began construction on August 22, 1975 and was inaugurated on February 13, 1977. On April 9, 1992, Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site was recognized as a national historical and cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Located in the Nguyen Sinh Sac relic complex is the model of Uncle Ho's stilt house and Dong Thap Lotus Pond, which started construction on May 19, 1990 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. The model of Uncle Ho's stilt house was built at a scale of 1:1.

On the occasion of the 81st death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, on December 2, 2010 (October 27th of the lunar calendar), the historical and cultural relic site put into use the Exhibition House of the life of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, reconstructing a corner of the ancient Hoa An Village to express respect and deep gratitude to Mr. Sac - a patriotic Confucian scholar who loved the people, a good doctor; at the same time helping visitors visualize the place where he lived and worked during the period of 1927 - 1929. The area recreating the ancient Hoa An Village includes relic houses associated with Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac; traditional house styles of ancient Southern villages, traditional craft village complexes: tobacco cutting, rice milling, blacksmithing, amateur music activities...

In 2012, on the occasion of the 83rd death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, the Nguyen Sinh Sac Temple was inaugurated to show respect and gratitude to the father of President Ho Chi Minh.

Regularly restored and cared for, Nguyen Sinh Sac National Relic Site has now become one of the province's typical tourist destinations, a red address for organizing activities to return to the source, educating historical traditions and patriotism for the young generation.

On the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the project to upgrade National Highway 30, Cao Lanh City section; visited the rice processing factory of Vietnam Rice Company Limited (VINARICE) at Truong Xuan Industrial Cluster, Truong Xuan Commune, Thap Muoi District; surveyed the high-tech agricultural model, rice production and worked with Thang Loi Agricultural Service Cooperative (Hamlet 5, My Dong Commune, Thap Muoi District).
