The Government Office has just sent an urgent dispatch to the Minister of Transport, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Chairmen of the People's Committees of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, An Giang provinces... conveying the Prime Minister's opinion on organizing the groundbreaking of expressway projects.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to organize the simultaneous groundbreaking of four component projects of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway project on June 17. The Prime Minister attended the groundbreaking ceremony at the An Giang province bridge (main bridge).
An Giang Provincial People's Committee presides over and closely coordinates with the People's Committees of the provinces and cities of Can Tho, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang in connecting the bridges online.
Then, on June 18, a series of groundbreaking ceremonies were held for the following projects: Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway. The Prime Minister attended at the Ho Chi Minh City bridge (main bridge).
The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Transport, the People's Committees of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dak Lak provinces and other localities to closely coordinate in connecting points online; complete procedures and conditions to organize the groundbreaking of a series of projects.
At the same time, the Ministry of Transport will closely coordinate and guide relevant localities on procedures and conditions for organizing the groundbreaking of projects. The organization of groundbreaking ceremonies for projects must meet all procedures and conditions according to regulations and ensure safety, solemnity and economy.
