The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28th caused serious damage: more than 1,600 people were killed, nearly 3,500 were injured and hundreds were missing. Many infrastructures were destroyed, while the effects of the earthquake also spread to Thailand and Vietnam.
Vietjet is an airline with extensive experience in organizing humanitarian and emergency flights, having participated in transporting relief forces and goods to many disaster-stricken areas such as the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia in 2018, super typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines in 2013, etc. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietjet also operated a series of special flights carrying medical teams, functional forces and medical equipment to many epidemic areas. These activities not only demonstrate the spirit of mutual love but are also part of the corporate culture towards the community that Vietjet always preserves and promotes.
