Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the family of Ms. Tran Thi Tam, whose temporary and dilapidated house was demolished in Binh Thanh commune, Tay Son district.

The Prime Minister , his delegation and provincial leaders visited and presented gifts to Ms. Tran Thi Tam, a near-poor household in Binh Thanh commune, Tay Son district.

After visiting and presenting gifts, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh encouraged Ms. Tran Thi Tam and her family to overcome difficulties and strive to improve their lives. The Prime Minister acknowledged and commended Binh Dinh's efforts and results and emphasized that in order to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025, along with the support of the State, it is necessary to promote the efforts of each household and the support and assistance of relatives, brothers, neighbors, etc. in the spirit of "whoever has something to contribute, whoever has merit to contribute, whoever has property to contribute, whoever has a lot to contribute a lot, whoever has little to contribute a little", creating a movement and trend for the poor, for the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

In recent times, Binh Dinh province has focused on directing and drastically implementing the phased plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, ensuring that before May 31, 2025, 4,418 temporary and dilapidated houses (2,694 newly built houses, 1,724 repaired houses) will be completed for policy households, poor households, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty, with a total cost of about 215 billion VND.

As of March 18, 2025, the province has started construction and repair of 3,718 households, reaching 85% of the plan. Completed and put into use 1,158 households (of which 313 were newly built; 845 were repaired). The province has mobilized all resources, ensured funding and implementation conditions.
