The Prime Minister commended units and localities for actively constructing the 500kV Line 3, Quang Trach

In the Document, the Prime Minister stated that, in order to contribute to improving the transmission capacity of the national power system, ensuring stable electricity supply for production, business and people's consumption in the peak months of 2024 and the following years, from the end of 2023 to now, the Government and the Prime Minister have decided to focus on investment and resolutely direct the acceleration of the construction progress of the 500 kV line 3 from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen), striving to ensure completion before June 30, 2024.

Implementing the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, ministries, branches, Party committees and local authorities have taken drastic actions; Vietnam Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation have focused highly, together with related Groups, Corporations and enterprises, especially the efforts of contractors, consulting units with nearly 15,000 officers, engineers, workers and laborers at construction sites with the spirit of working "3 shifts, 4 shifts", "through holidays, through holidays, through Tet", "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "eating quickly, sleeping urgently", "only working, not talking back" and with the support, consensus and active response of people in the area where the project passes through, up to now, a large amount of work has been done: nearly 100% of site clearance work has been completed; 100% of column foundations have been cast; 913 columns have been and are being installed (reaching 77%).

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated and warmly commended the proactive, determined and resolute spirit in completing the assigned tasks of the Party Committees and authorities of the localities where the power line project passes through, especially the drastic, direct and close direction of the Provincial Party Secretaries and Provincial People's Committee Chairmen; commended the Vietnam Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation, the Northern, Southern, Central Power Corporations, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporations, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group for their efforts, initiative and creativity, with the highest determination, mobilizing all resources to focus on construction to complete the project; commended the contractors, consultants, material suppliers and nearly 15,000 cadres, engineers, workers and laborers for overcoming all difficulties and making efforts to construct the project; Commend the sense of responsibility, support and consensus of the people who have given up their residences, production and farming places, and given land to the project; commend the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, responsibility and creativity of the union members of the youth union members in participating in building and developing the country with the spirit of "wherever there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth".

Following the teaching of beloved Uncle Ho "The Fatherland needs electricity as the body needs blood", all of us, especially those who are directly participating in the construction of the 500 kV line 3, are honored and proud to contribute a part of our efforts to build and add important "blood vessels" to meet the requirements of the cause of industrialization, modernization, rapid and sustainable development of the country, for the happiness of the people in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.

In the coming time, although there is still a lot of work to be completed, the progress requirements are very urgent, the terrain and weather conditions are difficult and complicated, but with the solidarity and joint efforts of the entire political system, local Party committees and authorities and the active support and participation of the people in the area where the project is implemented, we believe that Vietnam Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation, construction contractors, consulting units, agencies and units participating in the project construction, officers, engineers and workers at the construction site will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the industry; consider this both a responsibility and an honor; focus on construction with the highest determination, the greatest effort, continue to overcome all difficulties and challenges to definitely bring the 500 kV line 3 circuit project to the finish line with guaranteed quality on schedule before June 30, 2024.
