Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just sent an official dispatch to the Minister of Finance, requesting the Vietnam Social Security to organize the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May from April 25 to 28.

The Prime Minister also requested the Ministry of Finance and the Vietnam Social Security to properly handle and pay social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits to beneficiaries in a timely, adequate and correct manner.

This is to create conditions for people and workers to happily celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), while implementing social security policies and stimulating consumption.

Pensions and social insurance benefits are usually paid on the 1st of each month or later, depending on the locality and payment method, in cash or by bank transfer.

This year, the 4/30 - 5/1 holiday lasts 5 days, coinciding with the pension and social insurance benefits payment schedule.

However, with the latest request from the Prime Minister, people who are entitled to pensions and social insurance benefits can receive money before entering the long holiday.
