Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van concurrently holds the position of Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations Affairs.

According to the Decision, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Ngo Le Van, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to concurrently hold the position of Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations to replace Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This Decision comes into force from April 1, 2025.

The Working Committee on Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations was established under the Prime Minister's Decision to assist the Prime Minister in directing and resolving issues related to foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.

The Committee's tasks are to coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop and submit to competent authorities for promulgation legal documents on the activities of foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam; to preside over the appraisal of foreign non-governmental organizations through the Committee's member agencies to transfer dossiers to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consideration of granting, extending, amending, supplementing, and revoking the registration certificates of foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.

Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve complaints, denunciations and handle violations related to the activities of foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam; disseminate and provide information related to foreign non-governmental activities to Vietnamese partner agencies and foreign non-governmental organizations...
