Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung works with Binh Phuoc on 2 expressway projects

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi and leaders of relevant departments and agencies received and worked with the delegation.

The delegation surveyed the project implementation at the intersection of 2 expressway projects through the Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial and Residential Area, Minh Thanh Ward, Chon Thanh Town. According to the leader of Chon Thanh Town People's Committee, the site clearance work for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project is being urgently implemented. Up to now, the counting work has been completed and the site handover is expected in March 2025.

Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung and the working delegation conducted a field survey of the project implementation at the intersection of two expressway projects through Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial and Residential Park, Minh Thanh Ward, Chon Thanh Town.

Identifying the two expressway projects as key traffic works, an important driving force in the development of the province's traffic infrastructure, the Party Committee and government of Binh Phuoc province have focused all their efforts to carry out the project's tasks on schedule.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Mi requested leaders of departments, branches and sectors to accept the opinions of the working delegation and carry out the tasks to ensure the set progress.

Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh   Trung emphasized:   The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project and the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) Expressway Project are two important traffic projects that the Government and the Prime Minister are interested in directing to implement, contributing to the implementation of 3,000km of expressways nationwide. In addition to the efforts of the province, the central ministries and branches also actively support. Regarding capital sources, the central government has also allocated the capital plan for 2025 for the two projects, in order to create the best conditions, ensuring the project is implemented on schedule.

Deputy Minister of Finance Do Thanh Trung affirmed that he will continue to provide maximum support to localities so that expressway projects can be completed on schedule, contributing to improving traffic efficiency and promoting the development of the province as well as the region; at the same time, he requested Binh Phuoc province to closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to ensure financial procedures, especially site clearance work, so that construction progress is on schedule.
