The scrap collector then took the egg to the London, England antiques collector Wartski for examination. After careful examination, the expert said that this was one of seven Faberge eggs missing from the collection of 50 Royal eggs made exclusively for the Russian Royal Family.

Inside the egg is a Vacheron Constantin watch, placed on a gold base and was a gift from King Alexander III to his wife, Empress Maria Feodorovna, on the occasion of Easter 1887. This egg is worth up to 33 million USD (about 804 billion VND).

According to records, the Faberge eggs were all handmade. They were crafted by the Faberge Jewelry Company, run by Russian craftsman Peter Carl Faberge from 1885 to 1917.

They are made from expensive materials such as gold, diamonds and precious stones... Their sizes are also different, from 7 to 12 cm high. The special thing about Faberge eggs is that each one is different and takes 1 to 2 years to make. Their value is also different, from millions to tens of millions of USD.

Over the years, many of the eggs have been smuggled out. Some now belong to private collectors, one is in a museum, and seven have disappeared without a trace.

The most mysterious egg is the Imperial Faberge Necessaire, crafted in 1889. It is made of rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds, and contains a luxurious makeup kit inside.

The Imperial Faberge Necessaire Egg was sold by a family of antique dealers in 1952 to a mystery buyer. It has never been seen again. Very few images or information about the Necessaire Egg, which is worth an estimated $36 million.
