This income level is nearly double that of 2018, when the district was recognized as a new rural district. Cam Giang is a locality with a high average income per capita compared to other localities.
After being recognized as a new rural district, Cam Giang district has undergone a strong positive change. In 2024, the proportion of income from agriculture, forestry and fishery accounted for 1.5%, down 0.94% compared to the time the district achieved new rural status in 2018; income from service industries accounted for 95.63%, up 1.16%. The poverty rate decreased from 1.47% in 2018 to 0.19% in 2024.
