"Getting 1,570/1,600 points on the SAT is beyond my imagination . I only need 30 points (about 1-2 questions) to get a perfect score , thanks to that I also know my actual ability", Le Nguyen Quoc Anh shared. In addition to the SAT score, since he was in high school at the Foreign Language High School, Quoc Anh has excellently achieved an 8.5 IELTS score.
In October 2022, Quoc Anh took the SAT and found the test to be above average and not too difficult. However, for the male student, the SAT score is just a number, not a reflection of all the work and effort he has put in. Despite achieving such a high result, the valedictorian of the Foreign Trade University is still very modest, telling himself that he needs to try harder and not rest on his laurels.

To achieve an SAT score in the top 1% of the world, the male student often searches for knowledge on the internet and practices a lot instead of going to extra classes. In addition to self-studying, Quoc Anh also often listens attentively in class, always paying attention to the knowledge that he feels is important.
The SAT consists of two parts, Reading and Math, with increasing difficulty. Before the exam, Quoc Anh found many sources of Math questions to refer to, practice, and check his theoretical knowledge. "The SAT Verbal test is relatively scarce for me, so I can only refer to similar questions from the GMAT and GRE exams," the male student shared.
With a top SAT score in the world, the male student still decided to study domestically instead of studying abroad. Quoc Anh realized that there were many opportunities for him to develop himself domestically. However, studying domestically does not mean that Quoc Anh's door to studying abroad will close. At the present time, the male student feels that this is the most suitable path.
Quoc Anh said that he is not a bookworm, he even likes to go out more than go to school. When he sits down to study, he always shows a spirit of concentration of over 200% to achieve the highest efficiency.
In high school, early exposure to many activities organized by the school has trained Quoc Anh in many teamwork skills and other soft skills. This is an advantage for Quoc Anh when he goes to university so that he does not feel too overwhelmed with the new learning environment.

During his studies, at the most tiring times, his parents always encouraged and supported him. "Even when his academic results were not as expected, my parents always believed that my abilities would not stop there but could develop further," Quoc Anh said, adding that no pressure was a good environment for him to develop.
Right from the first semester at Foreign Trade University, Quoc Anh outlined a clear plan for playing and studying. With studying, the male student will always consolidate his knowledge of Foreign Languages to absorb specialized subjects and academic documents in the world.
It is only the first semester of the first year, so Quoc Anh's workload is not too heavy. In addition, the male student also feels not too surprised by the amount of knowledge and teaching methods of the teachers. The 10x will always try to study hard throughout the 4 years of study.
Regarding the goal of becoming the valedictorian of Foreign Trade University, the male student said he has not thought about it yet but only tries to study to the best of his ability. "My goal for 4 years of university is to try to achieve good results, combine listening to lectures and studying the curriculum and absorbing as much knowledge as possible," Quoc Anh revealed.
