Nationwide recall of 12 types of fake milk

According to the Food Safety Department, the department has received a dispatch from the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency requesting coordination in the fight against crime and detecting illegal acts, including identifying 12 food and nutritional products (in the form of powdered milk) as counterfeit goods.

The Food Safety Department requests the provincial health departments; the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Department; the Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board; and the provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Departments to review, inspect, and coordinate with local competent authorities to recall all 12 counterfeit food and nutritional products currently on the market.

List of 12 food and nutritional products (in powdered milk form) that are counterfeit includes:

1. Food supplement COLOS IQ FOR MUM

2. COLOS IQ DIABETES dietary supplement

3. DARIFA A+ ProGold dietary supplement

4. KENMIL PREMIUM PEDIA GOAT nutritional formula product

5. Food for special diets SURE IQ SURE GOLD

6. Kodo A+ Starter Colostrum 1 formula nutrition product

7. L'' GRAND COLOSTRUM PEDIA+2 nutritional formula product

8. Newsure Colos 24h Kid Plus formula nutrition product

9. Kid Baby Talacmum formula nutrition product

10. Food for special diets Gludiabet Talacmum

11. Food for special diets KASUMI CALCIUM NANO COLOS 24H

12. KASUMI GAIN COLOS 24H 3 nutritional product

At the same time, the Food Safety Department also requested units to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency to handle and resolve the matter according to the provisions of law.

The Department also recommends that people should not use 72 milk products under further investigation from Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Nutrition Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company until the final conclusion of the police agency.

Units continue to strictly implement instructions on strengthening inspection, examination, handling of violations of food safety and strengthening inspection and post-inspection of fake and poor quality food.
