
On October 7th, acting on a tip from the public, the task force of Mobile Forest Protection and Fire Prevention Team No. 3 conducted an inspection at the home of Ms. Truong Thi T, born in 1970, residing in Hamlet 3, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town. They discovered 7 civets weighing 32.7 kg being transported by Ms. T on a motorbike with license plate 37H1 - 640.80.

According to her confession, Ms. Truong Thi T purchased 7 civets, of which 6 were dead and 1 was injured from a trap set by a local resident in Que Phong district. None of the wild animals had legal documentation.

Currently, Mobile Forest Protection Team and PCCCR No. 3 have drawn up an inspection report, temporarily seized the confiscated items and vehicles involved in the violation to determine the species and value of the confiscated items, and are investigating and verifying the case for processing according to the law.
