The content of the New Year greetings letter is as follows: On the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year 2025, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province and the commanders of the People's Armed Forces of Kien Giang province cordially send to the monks, veteran revolutionary cadres, heroic Vietnamese mothers, families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, families with meritorious services to the country, cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers, workers, students and all Khmer people in the province their warmest greetings and best wishes for the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year.

In 2024, the situation in the province, in addition to basic advantages, also faced many difficulties and challenges, but with the spirit of solidarity, efforts and high determination of the Party Committee, army and people in the province, many important and quite comprehensive results were achieved in all fields. Most of the targets and tasks were achieved and exceeded the resolution set for the year. Economic growth reached 7.5%; culture and society made many advances, the appearance of urban and rural areas increasingly improved, the poverty rate decreased to 0.99%.

People's lives continue to improve; national defense, security, and the political system are consolidated and strengthened; foreign relations continue to expand. The Party's policies and the State's laws on the Khmer people are well implemented, and the 6th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Kien Giang province in 2024 is successfully organized.

2025 is a breakthrough year, successfully implementing the resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, the year of organizing Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and many major events of the country and the province. National target programs, projects and resources continue to be invested in and developed in ethnic minority areas in the province, contributing to reducing poverty and improving the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities.

Welcoming the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay New Year 2025, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the commanders of the People's Armed Forces of Kien Giang province hope that monks, cadres, soldiers, workers, students and Khmer people will celebrate the traditional New Year joyfully and meaningfully; promote the tradition of patriotism, fine cultural identity, and great national unity; heighten vigilance, resolutely fight and refute the distorted arguments of hostile forces aimed at dividing the great national unity.

Actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, enthusiastically strive to compete in labor, production, business, practice thrift, self-reliance to build a prosperous and happy life, contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of the province, and together with the whole country enter a new era; the era of national development.
