Nearly 500 billion VND overpass opens to traffic in Vinh Phuc

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong requested the Department of Transport to urgently coordinate with relevant departments and branches to complete procedures for closing the railway crossing at the bridge location.

In addition, according to the investor's report, although the overpass project - the main item of the project - has been completed and is eligible for operation, there are still some problems related to compensation and site clearance for auxiliary items under the bridge and procedures for closing the railway crossing at the bridge construction site, which need to be completed soon.

Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee organized the opening of the railway overpass on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street.

Faced with the above issue, Mr. Tran Duy Dong directed the investor to continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and Vinh Yen City People's Committee to resolve related problems and soon complete the entire project according to the approved design .

The Nguyen Tat Thanh railway overpass was invested in and built to solve the traffic congestion that has lasted for many years at the intersection between the Hanoi – Lao Cai railway and Nguyen Tat Thanh street. The bridge has a total length of 752m, the main bridge is 368.6m long.

The bridge has 8 spans (2 main spans and 6 approach spans), using cable-stayed technology, stylized towers; the bridge is 22.5m wide; the total project investment is 488 billion VND, using public investment capital from the provincial budget.
