National Highway 4 and 4D through Muong Khuong district and Sa Pa town have many landslides with large amounts of rock and soil falling from the positive slope onto the road, temporarily cutting off traffic.
Specifically, at Km100+500 of National Highway 4D, the section through Sa Pa town, a large landslide caused a traffic jam of about 50m in length.
Km197 National Highway 4, section through Tung Chung Pho commune (Muong Khuong district), positive slope landslide with volume of about 200m3 , traffic is temporarily cut off.

In addition, there are small landslides on many routes, making traffic difficult.
Immediately after the disaster occurred, professional forces and localities inspected and counted the damage, implementing the "4 on-site" motto to quickly overcome the consequences.

At 10:00 a.m. this morning, the landslide in Muong Khuong district has been temporarily fixed and vehicles can circulate.
In Sa Pa town, the contractor mobilized 1 excavator and 4 trucks to clean up the landslide. By 3:00 p.m., the landslide had been temporarily fixed and vehicles could move (one way).

Repair work will continue to be deployed so that vehicles can circulate smoothly in the shortest time.
