Priority conditions for admission to the first level

Accordingly, Thu Duc City conducts online enrollment for preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn with 2 enrollment subjects as follows:

Subject 1 : Priority admission for the following cases:

Grade 1: Students whose "current residence" is within the locality and within the prescribed age;

Grade 6: Students whose "current residence" is in the area, have completed primary school and are within the prescribed age.

Subject 2 : Students who wish to enroll in Thu Duc City but whose names are not yet on the Ho Chi Minh City education database, can be considered for priority admission in the following special cases:

Students who have completed preschool or primary school have a "current residence" in Thu Duc City but study outside Ho Chi Minh City.
Students whose father or mother works in the area (industrial parks, agencies located in the area).
Students transfer provinces (cities).
Students with special local circumstances.

Parents of students in group 2 who need to submit their application from May 26 to June 5: For grade 1, submit the application to the People's Committee of the ward "current residence", the officer in charge of education or the vice chairman in charge of culture and society will compile the list of students; For grade 6: parents submit the application to the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City (specialist in charge of enrollment) to compile the list.

From June 14 to 30, the enrollment software system will send a notification to the phone of the student's parents providing the application code and security code. Parents will access the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn to enter the application code and security code to register for their children. After registering, parents will receive a notification about the time to submit the paper application directly to the school.

Admission criteria:

Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School 1: 9 grade 6 classes with 315 students (including at least 4 integrated English classes).
Hoa Lu Secondary School: 7 grade 6 classes with 245 students (including at least 2 integrated English classes)
Binh Tho Secondary School: 8 grade 6 classes with 280 students (including at least 3 integrated English classes).

Students can only register for the survey at one school, the survey results of the registered school will not be used to consider admission to the other two schools. If they are not accepted at the registered school, students will still be arranged to study in grade 6 at the secondary school according to the regulations of the primary school admission plan.

From May 29 to June 4, Thu Duc City Department of Education and Training will review and announce enrollment results.

From June 5 to 8: Schools receive applications and guide parents to confirm online on the admissions page.

Admission to remaining schools

From June 14 to June 20: Schools enroll students who have been assigned from the website https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn; Instruct and organize parents to register as subject 1 to confirm submitting applications to schools according to the data updated on the city's enrollment page.

From June 21 to 5:00 p.m. on June 25: The Admissions Steering Committee will review the schools' admission capacity to adjust the routes and arrange accordingly to ensure that 100% of students can attend school. The Department of Education and Training will consider students registered in category 2 and update data on the city's admissions website and send the list of students who have confirmed their admission to the schools. The schools will organize the reception of applications and guide parents through the admission procedures.
