(NLDO) - The teacher in the case of causing a 10th grade female student in Binh Thuan to become pregnant initially admitted to having sex with the female student.
On the afternoon of February 4, the principal of Tuy Phong High School (Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan) decided to temporarily suspend a teacher of the school who was accused of having a relationship with a female student in the class he was in charge of.
According to the decision signed by Principal Pham Ngoc Khoi Nguyen, this teacher was temporarily suspended from work for 15 working days from the date of signing the decision, for the reason of "showing signs of violating the ethical qualities of a teacher".
Also on the afternoon of February 4, the source said that the female student's family had submitted a petition requesting the State Legal Aid Center of Binh Thuan province to participate in protecting the female student.

In the petition, the family requested protection for the female student in the case of being the victim in a case of sexual intercourse with a child from 13 to under 16 years old according to Article 145 of the Penal Code, amended and supplemented in 2015.
It is known that the student who was the victim in the incident was born on April 2, 2009.
The Tuy Phong District Police Department has summoned this teacher at Tuy Phong High School for questioning. Initially, this teacher admitted to having sexual relations with the female student at a motel in Tuy Phong District.
Tuy Phong District Police also coordinated with the school and local authorities to work with this 10th grade female student and her family to stabilize her psychology and encourage her to continue going to school.
A source from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper confirmed that the teacher involved in the above incident had a wife and children, but is now divorced.
