When will the 10th grade entrance exam results in Hanoi be available?
According to the latest information, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has completed the grading of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training is urgently implementing a number of tasks to be able to announce the exam scores as soon as possible. As previously planned, the announcement of the 10th grade entrance exam scores in Hanoi in 2024 will be no later than July 2.
Sharing with Dan Viet newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Hieu Khanh, whose daughter is Nguyen Huong Giang, a former 9th grade student at Phu Dong Secondary School, Gia Lam District, Hanoi, said: "My family and my daughter have registered for Cao Ba Quat High School. Compared to her classmates, her academic performance is only average, so the family is even more worried about her 10th grade entrance exam score.

This year the number of candidates has increased, moreover, Gia Lam area has several new urban areas so the population is very large, this year the competition rate will certainly be even higher. With my child's academic and test performance, I hope and hope to be lucky enough to pass the public school entrance exam. At this moment, everyone is anxious but does not know what to do. The whole family can only encourage each other."
Although looking forward to the entrance exam results for public schools, Mr. Khanh still did not forget to prepare many options for his children to choose from: public schools if they passed, private schools, colleges and vocational schools. "My friends and relatives all advised against it and also said that vocational schools are full of bad students, naughty and playful. However, I think differently, it is possible that in that environment the percentage of bad students is higher than in public schools, but it is not that there are no good students, good students and many successful students.
I have researched many schools for my child before the 10th grade exam. If my child studies at a private school, college, or vocational school and graduates at a good level, I will let him continue his studies to university or study abroad. If he studies at a normal level, I will let him work right away at the age of 18. For those who study at a normal school, working is not good, but for those who study at college, they will have more access and experience, so there is no need to worry."
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, in Gia Lam, Hanoi, said: "The whole family is anxiously waiting for our child's exam results. Since my child took the 10th grade exam, the family has put aside all appointments and important matters to focus on taking care of my child."
Mr. Dung also said that the whole family is now more comfortable and has backup plans for their child. "I hope my child will pass the public school entrance exam, but if he fails, I am happy to send him to a private school. The point of view of choosing a vocational school for my child is probably suitable for the family's economic conditions, with support from the state, compared to the expensive conditions of studying at a non-public high school. In the condition of 3 years, he can simultaneously obtain a vocational degree and a high school degree.
It is not true that children who learn a trade fail in their studies. You have the right to take the university entrance exam or choose a career that you are capable of and want to do at any school you attend.
