Approval of the shortened detailed planning of 30/4 Park

At the meeting, delegates listened to the consultant presenting a summary report on the abridged detailed planning of 30/4 Park, Ward 1, Soc Trang city, scale 1/500, the total scale of the detailed planning study is ^9,891.3m2 ; in which, the total scale of the detailed planning is directly based on the approved central area zoning plan with an area of ^{​​6,132m2} , the scope of the expanded planning study is ^3,759.3m2 of the square land expected to be cleared after the intersection expansion. The entire planning area is arranged with a harmonious overall space and the central highlight of the area is the monument of Labor Hero, Doctor of Agriculture Luong Dinh Cua. The monument is moved back about 82m from the current status, located in the middle of the relocated telecommunications station area, expanding the area of ​​the concentrated square to facilitate the organization of major events and festivals of the city. The total estimated cost of the project is over 33 billion VND.

Through the presentation of the consulting unit, at the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the departments and branches requested the consulting unit to adjust some detailed plans in the presented plan to make it more suitable. The nature of the project is a green park, entertainment and sports venue combined with an urban square and public auxiliary service works with synchronous investment in technical infrastructure. Accordingly, the provincial leaders assigned Project Management Board 1 to be the investor, and at the same time coordinate with relevant departments and branches to promptly complete the procedures for the project to be implemented.
