On the afternoon of March 12, in Dai Tu district ( Thai Nguyen ), Thai Nguyen Department of Construction had a working session with Tuyen Quang Department of Construction on the construction of a connecting road between the two provinces.

Representatives of the two agencies at the meeting.

The two sides highly agreed on the need to invest in building a connecting road connecting Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang provinces (from Km11+500, DT.261 to the border of Tuyen Quang province) to connect with the Thai Nguyen - Tuyen Quang - Yen Bai route. The investment in the project not only creates momentum to promote the socio -economic development of the two provinces of Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang but also contributes to strengthening regional connectivity, reducing travel time in both directions from Tuyen Quang to Thai Nguyen to the provinces of Hai Phong, Lang Son, Quang Ninh...

The route is expected to be designed to meet the standards of a grade II road, with 4 lanes, a design speed of 100km/h; and a roadbed width of 22.5m. The route will continue the project of the connecting route, connecting the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Vinh Phuc at Ky Phu commune, Dai Tu district (Km11+500, route DT.261) and end at the Khe Pass area bordering the two provinces of Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen.

After the meeting, the Departments of Construction of the two provinces agreed on the connection plan and location, reported to superiors, and included it in the public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period to implement the project.
