After the merger, Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television Station will perform the functions of information, propaganda, and press activities with the following forms: printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television and other media platforms.

After the merger, Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television Station has an Editorial Board and 9 specialized departments (4 departments reduced) including: Secretary; Current Affairs; Politics - Economics; Special Topics and Ethnic Minorities; Engineering and Technology; Arts - Sports - Entertainment; Electronics and Digital Content; Services - Advertising - Publishing and Office.

Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Vi Manh Hung presented the Project to merge Phu Tho Newspaper and Phu Tho Provincial Radio and Television Station.

The current headquarters will use both existing headquarters at the same time. The number of employees after the merger is 194 people.

According to Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau, the policy of merging Phu Tho Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station aims to build a synchronous, unified, scientific press system, meeting the requirements of effective, efficient and effective operations; ensuring that the province's press activities are professional, performing well the political, information and propaganda functions and tasks to meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization and international integration.

The Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee also requested the leaders of the two agencies to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to review the staff of civil servants and public employees to restructure the team appropriately, ensuring proper arrangement according to job positions.
