Announcement No. 1 - Photo contest "Land of a thousand flowers"

On September 18, 2024, the Organizing Committee of the Photo Contest "Land of a Thousand Flowers" announced to readers the following contents:

1- From September 18, 2024, the organizing committee will periodically introduce a number of works (without the author's name), helping readers easily visualize the contest photos with content that matches the 5 contest themes on the photo receiving website at: sggp.org.vn/thianh50nam

2- The selected photos introduced in Article 1 of this Notice are for the purpose of promoting the contest and will not be paid royalties.

However, photos selected to illustrate news articles published on Saigon Giai Phong Online Newspaper or Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper in paper will be awarded a royalty of VND 100,000/photo, according to the Royalty and Photo Royalty Regulations of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, because photos illustrating news articles are part of the content of a press product.

These selected photos may not be finalists for the contest.

3- When the website sggp.org.vn/thianh50nam receives works with similar content and creative intentions, the organizing committee will collect them separately.

The submitted works have similar content, form of expression and artistic value. The time of submission will be given priority consideration by the jury.
