“Moonlight Girl” tells the story of Ai, a girl who failed the entrance exam and was forced to attend night school at First Girl’s High School. There, she met Min, her deskmate from the day class. The two girls developed a beautiful friendship through letters hidden in desk drawers and after-school dates.

Understanding Ai's desire to enjoy the life of a full-fledged high school girl, Min swaps uniforms to help her attend day classes, and from then on, they spend the happiest days together.

They thought that the beautiful days would last until the day they graduated together, but fate turned sour when both of them discovered that they secretly loved the male student Luke. All three fell into a spiral between friendship and love. Will the friendship between Ai and Min overcome their first feelings to return to the beautiful days together?
