Weather April 22: Heat wave covers the whole country

(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, heat waves continue to cover most areas across the country.

According to the Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Agency, on April 22-23, the Northern region will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 45-50%.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen has hot weather, some places have extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 36-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 45-50%.

The Central Highlands and the South continue to have hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 36 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 50-55%.

Warning, from around April 24, the heat in the North will gradually decrease.

The heat wave in the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will last until April 24, and will likely ease from April 25.

The Central Highlands and the South will continue to be hot for many days to come.

Hanoi

Cloudy, hot during the day; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. South wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 25-27 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 33-35 degrees Celsius, some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

Northwest

Cloudy, hot during the day, sometimes very hot; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places below 23 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 34-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

Cloudy, hot during the day, some places are very hot; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 33-36 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, hot during the day, some places are very hot; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Wind from the South to the Southwest, level 2-3. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

Cloudy, sunny during the day, especially in the North, hot and sunny during the day, some places are very hot; in the evening and at night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. South wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, hot during the day; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 21-24 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 33-36 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam

Cloudy, hot during the day; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: 33-36 degrees Celsius.
