Weather April 10: Southeast region continues to be hot, some places over 36 degrees Celsius

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 10, the Southeast region continued to record widespread heat waves, with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-36 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity fluctuated between 45-50%, causing a feeling of stuffiness and discomfort, especially at noon and early afternoon.

The current hot and dry weather is forecast to continue in the coming days due to the influence of the southern edge of the low pressure trough connecting with the hot low pressure area in the west, combined with the foehn effect. Meteorologists warn people to limit outdoor activities between 11am and 3pm, and to drink enough water and nutrition to protect their health.

The Northwestern region of the North and the western mountainous areas of the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien - Hue also recorded localized heat waves. Some places had the highest temperature exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
