Southern weather for the weekend: Less sunshine, more rain!

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, today (May 20), the weather in the South will be cloudy and changeable. The heat will decrease and only occur in a few places. At noon, there will be showers and thunderstorms mainly in coastal areas, in the afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places will have moderate to heavy rain.

Thunderstorms may bring tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. The highest temperature during the day is 32-35 degrees Celsius, with some places exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.

Rain tends to increase in the South

In Ho Chi Minh City, the weather is cloudy and sunny during the day. There are scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The highest temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow (May 21), the weather in the South will be cloudy to cloudy, with intermittent sunshine during the day, and the heat wave will end in the region. Thunderstorms are likely to increase in many places in the afternoon and evening, with scattered moderate rain and thunderstorms, and heavy rain in some places.
