According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the night of March 28, many areas across the country will have thunderstorms ; the weather in the North will turn cold.

Beware of the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds in the Northern and North Central regions.

Commenting on the cold air situation, on the afternoon of March 28, Deputy Head of Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Le Thi Loan said that the cold air mass is currently approaching our country's border.

It is forecasted that from the evening and night of March 28, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast region and some places in the Northwest; from early morning of March 29, it will affect the North Central region and most places in the Northwest; then affect some places in the Central Central region.

Inland, the wind will change direction to Northeast, gradually increasing to level 2-3, coastal areas to level 3-4. From the night of March 28, the weather in the North will turn cold; from March 29, the weather in the North Central will turn cold.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North is generally from 15-18 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 13 degrees Celsius; in the North Central region it is generally 17-19 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area from the night of March 28, the weather turned cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 16-18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, from the evening of March 28, the wind in the Gulf of Tonkin will change direction to Northeast and gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2-3m high. From the night of March 28, the sea area north of the North East Sea will change direction to Northeast, strong level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 3-5m high.

Due to the influence of cold air, from the night of March 28, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Cold weather can affect livestock, poultry, and the growth and development of crops. Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works, and infrastructure. Strong winds and large waves at sea can affect the operation of ships and other activities.

Northwest

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the Northwest region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius, some places below 17 degrees Celsius.

- Highest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius, in the Northwest region 26-29 degrees Celsius, some places above 29 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. At night it will turn cold. Northeast wind level 2-3, coastal areas level 3-4.

- Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 15 degrees Celsius.

- Highest temperature 20-23 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi capital

- There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. At night it will turn cold. Northeast wind level 2-3.

- Lowest temperature 17-19 degrees Celsius

- Highest temperature 21-23 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Hue

- Rain in some places at night, rain during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind; from early morning on March 29, in the North, the wind will change direction from North to Northwest at level 2-3, in coastal areas at level 3-4. In the North, from March 29, the weather will turn cold.

- Lowest temperature in the North is 18-21 degrees Celsius, in the South is 21-24 degrees Celsius.

- The highest temperature in the North is 21-24 degrees Celsius, in the South is 24-27 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan

- In the North, there will be rain in some places at night, scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day; in the South, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny during the day. Wind from East to Southeast level 2-3.

- Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees Celsius.

- The highest temperature in the North is 28-31 degrees Celsius, in the South is 31-34 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region

- Showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; sunny during the day, hot in some places. Light wind.

- Lowest temperature 20-23 degrees Celsius

- Highest temperature 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places over 35 degrees Celsius.

Southern Region

- Showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; sunny during the day, hot in some places. Light wind.

- Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius
