On October 1, more than 10 containers of durian from a customer in Dak Lak were exported through Chu Lai port on a SITC ship. THILOGI provided a complete logistics service for this batch of durian, from road transport, seaport services, warehousing, food quarantine procedures to sea transport... at optimal cost.
The Central Highlands is currently the region with the largest durian growing area in the country with 51,400 hectares, with an output of 336,400 tons. The period from September to October is considered the main durian harvest season, with the highest yield of the year. In order to create favorable conditions for businesses and increase the value of Vietnamese durian exports, THILOGI focuses on improving the quality of full-package logistics services, multimodal transportation... thereby solving the problem of delivery and transportation from the starting point to the destination.
To meet the needs of storing and preserving fresh fruits before export, THILOGI has built a cold storage system at Chu Lai port with an area of over 12,500 m2 and a capacity of 1,000 cold containers. In addition, with a large number of specialized cold containers (40, 45 feet) and more than 200 specialized tractors for transporting agricultural goods, THILOGI connects agricultural products from the Central Highlands, Southern Laos, and Northern Cambodia to Chu Lai port for export. At the same time, products are preserved in a compatible temperature according to the regulations of each type.
In particular, the completion and operation of wharf No. 2, 365m long with a large capacity specialized crane system and enhanced cooperation with international shipping lines (SITC, CMA CGM, ZIM, RCL...) helps Chu Lai port increase its capacity to receive, unload, and release ships, optimizing the time for agricultural products to reach the world market.
On average, each month, Chu Lai port serves the export of more than 500 containers of fresh fruit (bananas, durians, etc.) to partners and customers with time-saving solutions and service fees 10-30% lower than other ports in the region.
