Through the inspection at Regiment 174, the Provincial Military Command, the inspection team of the Military Region assessed that the Party Committee and the Regiment Commander had thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the training and combat orders from above on improving the quality of training in the period of 2023-2030 and the following years; promptly issued specialized resolutions to lead the implementation of training tasks.
Training officers at all levels develop plans, manage and operate training, draft complete training curriculum for subjects, organize training and coaching for officers; prepare adequate facilities for training grounds, training grounds, and teaching aids to meet training requirements and tasks.
In 2023, the Regiment will receive and train 500 new soldiers, organize the staffing according to regulations and ensure the correct and sufficient training content and time. Up to now, 100% of new soldiers have grasped the basic content of infantry combat techniques and tactics, individual tactics, regulations, logistics, and techniques; strictly maintain etiquette, manners, forms of address, and greetings. Through the 3-explosion test, the unit achieved good and excellent results and ensured absolute safety.

The Party Committee and the Regiment Command regularly pay attention to building a regular and disciplined order to raise awareness and responsibility for officers and soldiers with many timely leadership and direction measures, creating positive changes in building a comprehensively strong "exemplary" unit. 100% of officers and soldiers are mentally secure, strictly follow discipline, and are ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well.
The Military Region delegation surveyed the construction of a shooting range of the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command in Tan Chau district. According to the report of the Provincial Military Command, the total planned area of the shooting range and training range of the Provincial Military Command is about 85.45 hectares and is planned into 5 areas including: a tactical training range with live ammunition firing for infantry platoons; a live ammunition testing area for infantry shooting exercises; an area for training and testing explosives techniques, lesson 1, obstacle techniques; an area for testing grenade techniques and a squad-level combat shooting range.

Concluding the inspection, Major General Le Ngoc Hai - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region requested the Provincial Military Command and Regiment 174 to continue to lead and direct the strict implementation of the Resolution of the Central Military Commission and the Military Region Party Committee on improving the quality of training in the period of 2023 - 2030 and the following years; correctly and fully understand the position, role, and requirements of training as a key political task in peacetime.
Before entering training, it is necessary to prepare well each content and training schedule; approve the cadre training curriculum and prepare materials, teaching aids, training grounds, and training grounds; strictly implement the management, operation, and training practice for the subjects.
