Handing over the task of Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry
Pursuant to Decision No. 1551 dated December 12, 2024 of the Prime Minister; Decision No. 3319 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee (CMC) and the direction of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee, the General Department of Defense Industry (GDDI) organized a conference to hand over the duties of Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of the GDDI between comrades: Lieutenant General Ho Quang Tuan, Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Director of the GDDI, handed over the duties of Party Committee Secretary of the GDDI to Major General Dinh Quoc Hung; Major General Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of the GDDI, handed over the duties of Political Commissar of the GDDI to Major General Dinh Quoc Hung.

Major General Dinh Quoc Hung is a cadre who received basic training at academies and schools inside and outside the military, and has held many positions at many agencies and units. During his work, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung has always demonstrated exemplary political qualities, qualifications and working capacity, constantly striving to study and practice, having a lot of experience in leadership, management, command, and operation, and always excellently completing all assigned tasks. On December 12, 2024, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung was appointed by the Prime Minister as Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry and on December 13, 2024, he was appointed by the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission to join the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Department of Defense Industry for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Dinh Quoc Hung expressed his honor in his position as the person receiving the assignment of the Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of the General Department of Defense Industry. Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung highly agreed with the content of the handover and the opinions at the conference. The Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics assessed that in 2024, the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum had synchronously, drastically, comprehensively deployed and successfully completed the staff work with the Party, the State and the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense on the task of preserving and protecting the body of President Ho Chi Minh in the long term; medical work, reception, propaganda, organizing activities and performing rituals according to regulations, ensuring security and safety. The organization maintained strict implementation of the regimes, regular construction order, discipline and logistics and technical work, taking care of ensuring good material and spiritual life for soldiers...
“These are very proud results; they are both a motivation and pressure requiring the Party Committee and the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection to continue to unite and promote in the coming years ,” Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung emphasized.
Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung requested: The Party Committee of Group 969 and the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum need to continue to thoroughly implement the Party's resolutions, directives and regulations, maintain solidarity and unity on the basis of five principles: Democratic centralism; self-criticism and criticism; solidarity and unity; close attachment to the people; the Party operates within the framework of the Constitution and the law.
The Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics requested: The Standing Committee, the Head of the Command, Party committees and commanders at all levels should set an example, join hands and be unanimous for the common task.
