Practical gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution

These practical and meaningful programs are not only held on important occasions but also take place throughout the year, becoming a widespread political and social activity. According to comrade Bui Manh Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries and showing gratitude to NCC is always carried out by Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people with the most sacred sentiment and responsibility. In recent times, the "Repaying gratitude" movement has received the active response and participation of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life. 100% of communes, wards and towns in the province have been recognized for doing a good job in the work of war invalids, martyrs and NCC.

In addition, preferential policies such as monthly allowances, health insurance, health care, housing support, household items, incentives in education and training for NCC are fully and promptly implemented, without any violations or negative actions, and there are no pending cases that have not been reviewed or resolved. The movements of gratitude and socialization of care for NCC are increasingly promoted.

The province currently has over 7,400 beneficiaries and their relatives receiving monthly preferential allowances, over 9,800 beneficiaries and their relatives enjoying health insurance. On average, over 1,500 people receive one-time allowances each year; 100% of beneficiaries and their relatives receive care and health rehabilitation. Every year, from the central and provincial budgets, over 50,000 gifts have been given to beneficiaries with a total value of over 15 billion VND. In the period of 2022 - 2024, with over 22.2 billion VND in socialized funding, housing improvements have been supported for 692 policy households. Thanks to that, the lives of policy families are stable, and their incomes are increasing. Currently, 97.68% of beneficiaries have a standard of living equal to or higher than the average standard of living of people in the same residential area.

The work of searching for, collecting martyrs' remains, martyrs' graves, and identifying martyrs with missing information has been actively implemented. In the past time, the province has mobilized over 100 billion VND to repair, upgrade, and renovate martyrs' cemeteries and works honoring martyrs. The "Repaying gratitude" Fund has received support and contributions from many businesses, organizations, individuals, philanthropists, and people. Typical in implementing the gratitude movement are the following units: Hoa Binh Electricity Company, Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch with the program of supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; the provincial armed forces with the movement of building gratitude houses; the provincial Women's Union with the movement of mobilizing to repair and build new houses for families with preferential policies; local youth with the program of gratitude and caring for martyrs' graves...

The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is an occasion to honor and show gratitude to the heroic martyrs, cadres and soldiers who directly participated in the Great Spring Victory, creating an exciting and proud atmosphere, encouraging cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to compete to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress. On this occasion, localities in the province continue to promote the movement of gratitude and activities to show gratitude to heroic martyrs. In particular, the Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting with 100 typical heroic martyrs who are relatives of martyrs, cadres, soldiers and people who directly participated in the Great Spring Victory of 1975; Art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy"...
