
Implementing the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, in 2025, the People's Committee of La Gi town has developed a Plan to implement housing support for people with revolutionary contributions, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in La Gi town, with the goal of "leaving no one behind", helping people have safe housing, stabilize their lives, contributing to the successful implementation of sustainable poverty reduction and social security policies.

The peak period of removing temporary and dilapidated houses in the town will take place from March 30 to April 23, the day of liberation of La Gi. During this peak period, La Gi town will start to build new houses and repair houses for 10 households that meet legal conditions for residential land in Phuoc Hoi, Phuoc Loc and Binh Tan wards, with a support amount of 60 million VND for each new house.

In order to carry out the peak according to the plan, La Gi town calls on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, businesses and people to join hands and contribute, promote the tradition of solidarity, "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" with practical actions in the spirit of "Whoever has something to contribute, whoever has merit contributes merit, whoever has property contributes property, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little". The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, agencies, units, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations at all levels in the town focus on supporting the construction of poor households, near-poor households, and other disadvantaged households in appropriate forms, contributing to increasing the value and speeding up the completion of the project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang emphasized that in the past time, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have had many support programs for people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' relatives, poor households, near-poor households, and other disadvantaged households in the province to build houses. However, the number of people facing housing difficulties in the province is still quite large. In order to meet that need and create more favorable conditions for people to stabilize their lives, work with peace of mind, and gradually escape poverty, the Provincial People's Committee has developed and implemented a project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Thuan province in the period of 2024 - 2025 with a total of 971 houses.

During the peak period of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in La Gi town, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang requested local departments and branches to focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Upholding the sense of responsibility of Party committees, authorities and the entire political system, identifying the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses as one of the political tasks that need focused leadership and direction from Party committees at all levels. Strengthening propaganda work so that each cadre, party member and people of all walks of life clearly, correctly and fully understand the purpose and humane significance of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, thereby actively responding and taking practical actions to participate in support.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang also requested the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations at all levels to promote their roles and responsibilities in mobilizing resources, mobilizing the participation of union members, association members and the community to help families, so that each house ensures the best quality.
