In the first 9 months of 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the efforts of all levels, sectors, businesses and people in the area, Bim Son town has effectively implemented the socio -economic development goals and tasks in 2024.

Enterprises in Bim Son Industrial Park strive to compete in labor and production, determined to excellently complete the 2024 goals.

The highlight of the economic picture of Bim Son town in the past 9 months is the industry - construction sector with many improvements. In particular, some industrial products such as cement reached 8.3 million tons, reaching 72.2% of the plan, up 20.3% over the same period; clinker 2.35 million tons, reaching 78.3% of the plan, up 18.7% over the same period; construction bricks 142 million, reaching 71% of the plan, up 7.6% over the same period; cement packaging 83.5 million products, reaching 75.9% of the plan, up 16% over the same period; garment products 15.6 million products, reaching 70.9% of the plan, up 6.1% over the same period...

With the proactiveness of enterprises in maintaining traditional markets and seeking and expanding new customers, the export output of goods such as clothing, clinker, auto parts, and electric cables has increased. In the past 9 months, the value of exported goods in the town reached 281.35 million USD, reaching 97.01% of the plan, up 18.2% over the same period.

The agriculture - forestry - fishery sector was maintained stably, with a total cultivated area of ​​1,410.8 hectares, reaching 102% of the plan and 96.6% of the same period. Notably, the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program was implemented synchronously and effectively. The town decided to recognize 3 stars for 2 OCOP products (herbal chicken eggs, Bao Hoi beef ham), achieving 100% of the target assigned by the Town People's Council.

In order to successfully complete the goals and tasks of the 2024 socio-economic development plan, the Party Committee and the government of Bim Son town have directed departments, offices, wards and communes to identify low-achievement and difficult-to-complete goals and targets in the last 3 months of the year, to propose specific, feasible and breakthrough tasks and solutions. The focus is on accelerating the implementation progress of the urban subdivision planning project No. 2, west of National Highway 1A and adjusting the functional subdivision planning of the eastern part of the town. At the same time, accelerate the progress of preparing and adjusting detailed planning projects for residential areas, and soon approve them as a basis for implementation.

The town is strengthening its direction to resolve difficulties and obstacles in site clearance, improve the efficiency of using public investment capital, focus resources and solutions to accelerate key infrastructure projects. In addition, it is necessary to effectively implement State management of land, resources, minerals and environment; accelerate the progress of granting land use right certificates; and strive to complete the land use right auction plan in 2024.

In particular, the town continues to focus on improving the quality of cultural -educational - medical activities and people's lives. In particular, effectively deploy and implement Directive No. 29-CT/TU dated April 1, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in continuing to promote the implementation of civilized urban lifestyle in the town for the period 2024-2030. Urgently complete the dossier to request recognition of completion of the district-level digital transformation target. Organize inspection, review and assessment of the quality of cultural families and units meeting cultural and civilized urban standards in 2024. At the same time, deploy a plan to review poor households, near-poor households, agricultural - forestry - fishery households with average income in 2024. Thereby effectively and promptly implementing the program to support funding for poor households to repair and build new houses, ensuring the achievement of poverty reduction targets in 2024.

2024 is a year of special significance, a year of acceleration to the finish line, playing a key and decisive role in completing the goals and tasks of the entire 2020-2025 term. Accordingly, in the last 3 months of the year, the town continues to prioritize resources, focus on investing in infrastructure development and expanding urban space, striving to complete and exceed the set targets, aiming to build Bim Son town into a dynamic urban center in the North of Thanh Hoa province by 2025.
