Ba Don town, Quang Binh province completes the task of building new rural areas

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Quang Binh province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Ba Don town to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.

* With the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, after many years of striving to build new rural areas, up to now, Ba Don town has achieved positive results in many fields.

Currently, all 10/10 communes in Ba Don town have met the criteria and targets according to the set of criteria for communes meeting new rural standards (100%); 2 communes of Quang Tan and Quang Hai have met the advanced new rural standards (20%); the number of wards recognized as meeting civilized urban standards is 06/06 wards (100%); the ratio of green land for public use in urban areas in the town has reached ^9.6m2 /person (regulation is ^5m2 /person). Up to now, Ba Don town has no outstanding debts in implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction.
