Duong Minh Chau Town: Exciting activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification

Towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, Duong Minh Chau town organized a series of activities "Accompanying families of policy beneficiaries", "Returning to the old battlefield", "Soldiers' art performance"...

Accordingly, the teams live with a policy family for a day and participate in repairing and cleaning houses, gardening, taking care of the elderly, giving gifts, giving meals of love and many other activities of the teams' own choosing.

The teams also participated in sports activities and games recreating some old fighting images such as "Liberation Steps", "Soldier Challenge", "Skillful Soldier"; participated in the "Soldier Arts" program with songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the homeland and country...

At the final results, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning teams, of which the first prize went to the Ward 2 Party Cell and the Youth Union.

Mr. To Minh Tam - Secretary of the Party Committee of Duong Minh Chau town said that the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) aims to propagate and educate the tradition of patriotism, expressing deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for the independence and unification of the Fatherland.

Through these activities, we contribute to encouraging and motivating the entire Party Committee, government and people in Duong Minh Chau town to continue to successfully carry out local political tasks in 2025; further enhance the sense of responsibility of today's generation towards previous generations in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
