High School Graduation Exam 2025: When will we officially register, what's new in the exam schedule?

The trial registration process for the 2025 high school graduation exam will last from today (April 15) to April 18. After that, candidates will officially register on the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system from April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28. And from April 28 to May 9, schools will review, check, and edit candidate information (if any), and review candidates' reserved scores (if any). Next is the work of confirming and announcing cases that are not eligible to take the exam.

One of the new points in the 2025 high school graduation exam is that candidates can choose to take the exam according to the current generaleducation program or the old program. However, both will take the same exam on June 26 and 27, the only difference is the exam subject on the 27th. Regarding foreign language certificates, both the high school graduation exam and university entrance exam this year have many notable changes. Specifically, candidates with foreign language certificates that meet the requirements are still allowed to use them to be exempted from the exam, but they cannot be converted into 10 points in the graduation recognition consideration as before. Meanwhile, universities can convert foreign language certificates into foreign language subject scores to include in the admission subject group, but the foreign language subject scores converted from the certificate have a weighted score of no more than 50%.
