That is candidate Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung at the exam site of Le Quy Don High School, Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc.

Over a week ago, Dung unfortunately broke her right arm. The student and her family were extremely worried because this was a pivotal exam for Thuy Dung to reach her dream of becoming a pharmacist.

In order to pass the high school graduation exam in time, with support from family, teachers and friends, Dung tried to practice writing each word, and at the same time reviewed more to prepare for the exam.

Early in the morning of June 27, Dung was taken by her mother to the exam site at Le Quy Don High School. There, the invigilator instructed her on how to use a recording device to take the literature exam according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

After finishing the first exam, Dung excitedly said that she had completed her exam. "Although it was difficult, I will try my best to complete the exams well so as not to let down my 12 years of studying and to repay the teachings of my teachers and the care of my parents," Dung said.

After taking the literature exam with the support of the invigilator, Dung will fill in the multiple choice test papers with her left hand for the remaining exams.

"Hearing my child say that she did well on the exam, I am very happy. She has tried very hard, I hope the result will be good," Mrs. Pham Thi Gam (Dung's mother) emotionally shared.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tinh - deputy head of the examination site at Le Quy Don High School - said that the family had previously submitted a request and a copy of Dung's medical records to the school. After that, the school submitted a request to the department and ministry to allow the child to sit in a separate examination room and it was accepted.

Candidates in wheelchairs take graduation exams

At the exam site of Chon Thanh High School, Chon Thanh District, Binh Phuoc, a candidate had to sit in a wheelchair to take the high school graduation exam after a traffic accident.

Accordingly, on the evening of June 22, Tran Tien Dat, a 12A7 student at Chon Thanh High School, unfortunately had a traffic accident and suffered a fractured pelvis.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tham - Deputy Head of the Chon Thanh High School Examination Site - said that to facilitate the male students to take the exam, the examination site has arranged separate tables in the examination room. At the same time, the security department has coordinated with the examination department to check and control the male students' wheelchairs during each exam session to ensure that no related devices are prohibited from being brought into the examination room.

In addition, the examination board also requires parents of candidates to write a commitment to ensure their children's health throughout the exam, especially during the exam period.

At the same time, the examination site also discussed with Chon Thanh Town Medical Center to carry out procedures to ensure the health of candidates during the examination.

In addition to math, literature, and foreign language (English), candidate Tran Tien Dat chose to take the social science exam. Despite his health problems, Dat said he would do his best to complete the exams.
