Practicing the high school graduation exam registration before officially registering helps students understand the registration process, ensuring no mistakes or errors. The trial registration period is from April 15 to April 18, 2025.

Candidates log in to the Ministry of Education and Training 's (MOET) exam management system at https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/ and follow the instructions to register for the mock exam. The candidate's data for the mock exam will be deleted by the system before the candidate officially registers.

According to the schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates will officially register for the high school graduation exam from April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28, 2025 online.

The high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. This year is the first year that candidates studying the 2018 generaleducation program will take the graduation exam and it is also the year that the Ministry of Education and Training has made many changes in the exam method and questions.

Accordingly, candidates who are grade 12 students in the 2024-2025 school year and independent candidates who have not graduated from high school will take 4 subjects, including math, literature and 2 subjects chosen from among the subjects with scores at high school level.

Candidates in grade 12 this school year will take the exam according to the 2018 general education program. Independent candidates can choose to take the exam according to the 2006 general education program (the program students have studied) or the 2018 general education program.

It is expected that on July 16, the results of the exam for high school graduation will be announced and candidates will use the exam results for university and college admission.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will still be assigned to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to take full responsibility for the stages of printing, invigilation, grading, and inspection of the exam. The Ministry of Education and Training will issue common exam questions for candidates nationwide and send inspection teams to 63 provinces and cities during the exam and grading period.
