Rap Viet contestant makes Karik "afraid" of BigDaddy

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Episode 11 of Rap Viet 2024 continues with the Breakthrough round, featuring a competition between contestants in groups B and C based on the themes of Vietnamese folk songs, proverbs, idioms, and literature.

Group B in the Breakthrough round features four members: Dangrangto (BigDaddy's team), RamC (B Ray's team), Lower (Karik's team), and Coldzy (Suboi's team).

Having previously received four Golden Hats, Dangrangto returns to the Rap Viet stage, confidently sharing: "No contestant can stop me."

Previously, Dangrangto often delivered edgy music , but in this round, the rapper born in 2002 decided to win over the audience with a more positive image of effort, perseverance, and fearlessness.

During the competition night, Dangrangto presented two contrasting styles representing his two personalities. After preparation, his disco song with the proverb "don't be discouraged by rough seas" attracted great attention from the judges and audience. MC Tran Thanh predicted the performance would become a trending topic.

Coach Karik said he felt "intimidated" by BigDaddy after watching the performance: "Too smart, how can he be that smart? I didn't think Dangrangto would incorporate bolero with such an unexpected structure without losing his energy."

Dangrangto also shared that he returned to this stage to convince the discerning audience and those with conflicting opinions about the four golden hats he received in the first round.

Dangrangto added: "I want to become a confident star, promising a truly brilliant version of Dangrangto Tran La Luot in the future."

In Group B, Dangrangto, coached by BigDaddy, convincingly secured their place in the next round.

Group C, featuring contestants Tieu Minh Phung (Team B Ray), V# (Team BigDaddy), Queen B (Team Karik), and Saabirose (Team Coach Suboi), also received enthusiastic support from the audience.

After a closely contested competition, the winner of Group C was Queen B, a contestant from Coach Karik's team.
