On May 24, Ms. Pham Kim Dung - CEO of Sen Vang said that contestants of Miss World Vietnam 2023, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and Miss National Vietnam reported to the Organizing Committee about receiving fake messages.

According to Ms. Dung, these messages are related to buying and selling prizes, invitations to shows, taking photos, interfering with results... They pretend to be acquaintances of famous people or influential people to create trust.

The Organizing Committee said that the incident is causing confusion and affecting the psychology of the contestants. Therefore, the Organizing Committee affirmed that there will be legal intervention if the subjects continue to affect the contestants as well as the reputation of the contest.

"All information from those subjects is fraudulent, taking advantage of the stress of candidates and their families for personal gain. These scams are too old but are still exploited by technology and social networks to repeat every year. We affirm that no one can interfere with the judges' scorecards or the final results.

We will provide all this information to the authorities for help and support in handling subjects with fraudulent behavior," Ms. Dung added.

The Organizing Committee representative also emphasized that if contestants do not report the above issues but continue to communicate with negative subjects, they will be handled according to the contest regulations.

Candidates and their families who are preparing to enter the contest, if they receive any suspicious offers, should immediately contact the organizers to help bring the scammers to light.

Miss World Vietnam 2023 contestant

Miss World Vietnam 2023 has gone through the preliminary round and selected a total of 61 contestants to continue. The final round is expected to take place in May.

In this year's season, the jury includes Ms. Pham Kim Dung (also Head of the Organizing Committee), Miss Luong Thuy Linh (Deputy Head of the Committee), Miss Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Do Thi Ha, designer Le Thanh Hoa and actress Van Trang.

In addition, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and Miss National Vietnam are starting. The final round and national final of Miss National Vietnam will take place in January 2024.
