Miss Universe contestants actively practice for the semi-final night

To prepare for the best performance in the Semi-final and National Costume show taking place on the evening of December 26, the Top 38 Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 actively practiced and assembled the stage.

The weather in Da Lat city is quite cold in the last days of the year, sometimes down to 16, 17 degrees Celsius. However, the contestants are still enthusiastic in practicing. Many contestants dress quite coolly in the cold weather next to the beauties wearing coats, thick jackets, and scarves.

For the first time in the 15-year history of the competition, the Top 2 Final will not have a behavioral competition, but will be replaced by a future action plan and a national costume performance will be included in the Semi-final night. Therefore, the Organizing Committee and the contestants are more eager to practice to avoid mistakes in this important competition.

Specifically, in the Semi-final night - National Costume Performance, the Top 38 contestants of Miss Universe Vietnam will go through four main competitions: Self-introduction, calling out names; Bikini performance; Evening gown performance and National Costume performance. There are 2 changes compared to the previous competition year.

The National Costume performance will be present for the first time in the Semi-final night and there will be no Ao Dai performance. After the introduction, the Top 38 will have 30 to 45 seconds to introduce themselves. This is an opportunity for the audience to understand more about the contestants through direct speech through the microphone.

The Final Night took place on the evening of December 31 with the main contents such as: Mass performance - announcing the list of Top 16; Top 16 performing Bikini; Announcing Top 10 and Top 10 performing evening gown; Announcing Top 5 and announcing the opening of the voting portal for Top 2; Top 5 behaving and choosing Top 2 to speak eloquently, presenting future action plans.

The new changes of the Organizing Committee created a media "explosion" when it almost changed the history of a major beauty contest, but it is not yet possible to say whether this change will improve the quality of contestants and convince the audience or not.
