During the Monday morning flag-raising ceremony, the commander of Battalion 1 of the Training Center (Naval Region 2) commended and rewarded outstanding collectives and individuals who had successfully completed their tasks during the week and unexpected missions.
Although the rewards were not substantial, primarily serving as encouragement, their timely delivery and formal organization served to promote the unit's emulation movement, making it increasingly orderly and effective.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung, Political Officer of Battalion 1, stated: “Recognizing the importance of emulation and reward work, the Battalion Party Committee and command have unanimously agreed on a democratic emulation approach, encouraging timely and appropriate rewards for the right people and the right achievements. Even if the achievements are not significant, if they are the result of effort, overcoming difficulties, and daring to think and act for the collective good, we immediately acknowledge and encourage them, thereby further motivating officers and soldiers to continuously strive to excel and successfully complete all tasks.”
Despite being established less than three years ago, the Training Center has organized its emulation activities quite systematically, effectively promoting unit building. From training and discipline to logistics, technical work, and improving the landscape and environment, the emulation movement has left its mark. The role of the officers is clearly demonstrated through their exemplary conduct, sense of responsibility, dedication, and close involvement with the unit. Thanks to their close and frequent interaction with the soldiers, the officers are able to promptly identify good deeds and commendable actions of the soldiers, praising and promoting these exemplary individuals.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hao, Commander of Battalion 2, in all unit activities, especially drills, field training, civilian affairs, competitions, inspections, etc., collectives and individuals with good achievements are immediately commended and rewarded by the unit commander on the spot, without waiting for the preliminary or final review period, ensuring timeliness. This is considered an effective measure to spread the Emulation Movement for Victory, which the Battalion has consistently implemented in recent years.
Along with timely commendations and recognition, the Party Committee and command of the Training Center prioritize the dissemination of exemplary models and best practices within agencies and units through mass media, internal information systems, and the unit's social media groups. With this approach, the Center's emulation movement remains vibrant and substantive; the unit has not experienced any serious disciplinary violations or desertions. Through inspections by the Navy and the 2nd Naval Region, the Training Center has consistently demonstrated significant progress...
Colonel Nguyen Huu Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Training Center, affirmed: "Democratic and substantive emulation, timely commendation and encouragement, prioritizing subordinates and soldiers, is a practical motto and method to spread the Emulation Movement for Victory, making an important contribution to building a unit that is always united and cohesive, and successfully completing all assigned tasks."
