Pilot model of honoring outstanding students

In order to honor and promote outstanding students in general education institutions, Ho Chi Minh City will pilot a program to honor outstanding students in the 2023-2024 school year.

Accordingly, the evaluation criteria are based on activities including the relationship between students, the relationship between students and collective activities and the living environment, and the efforts of students in the process of studying, training, and competing to follow the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho.

In the first year of organization, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and 21 districts selected one primary school and one secondary school to pilot the model. For high schools, vocational education and continuing education centers, the model was piloted at a number of units before being expanded throughout the city.
