On August 2, in Quang Ninh, the General Staff (Ministry of National Defense) held a conference to pilot administrative procedures on military service (NVQS) on the Ministry of National Defense's public service portal at the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command. Major General Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Director of the Military Department, Head of the General Staff's working delegation, chaired the conference.
At the conference, the training participants were introduced by lecturers who are IT engineers of Viettel Group to the application of administrative procedures on military service; instructed on how to use the software directly on the computer; set up communication channels; how to manage and register military service of the Military Command at district, commune and ward levels on the public service portal of the Ministry of National Defense,...
Through the pilot, the aim is to equip the staff directly performing military service work at the grassroots level with knowledge to grasp an overview of the software system, and carry out administrative procedures in the field of military service on the Ministry of National Defense's public service portal. Contribute to administrative reform, reduce workload and professional activities for military staff at all levels in implementing the contents of management and registration of military service, while helping people save time, effort and money,... as a basis for the General Staff to supplement, learn from experience, complete software applications for units, report to the Ministry of National Defense, report to the Government for unified implementation nationwide.
