The leader of Trang Bang Town Land Fund Development Center said that currently, the Center is implementing 13 projects, of which 8 projects have approved compensation plans and 5 new projects are being implemented. In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway project is a particularly important project.

Right from the time of planning to invest in the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway passing through Trang Bang town, the People's Council and People's Committee of Trang Bang town planned and submitted to the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee for approval the investment project to build a resettlement area of ​​10.7 hectares in Hung Thuan commune to ensure resettlement for projects in Trang Bang town in general and to arrange resettlement for the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway project in particular.

The resettlement area is located in Bung Binh hamlet, Hung Thuan commune; area of ​​10.7 ha; expected to arrange 402 plots (average area of ​​each plot is 140 m2 (7m x 20m). This project has been approved by the Provincial People's Council in investment policy in Resolution No. 110/NQ-HDND dated September 22, 2023 and the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee approved the feasibility study report on project construction investment in Decision No. 990/QD-UBND dated May 21, 2024.

Trang Bang Town People's Committee will carry out land acquisition and develop a compensation plan to support households affected by the project from the end of the third quarter of 2024 to proceed with infrastructure construction.

At the beginning of April 2025, the construction unit of the resettlement project and equipment in Trang Bang town (Bung Binh hamlet, Hung Thuan commune) is urgently constructing. This is a level III project, including the following items: site leveling (the leveled area is about 71,888 hectares (excluding traffic roads); traffic roads and other items along the traffic roads; rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, water supply; traffic safety items; parks; power supply items; lighting items for internal traffic roads.

The construction and equipment of the resettlement area project in Trang Bang town has a total investment of over 74.5 billion VND, invested by the Trang Bang Town Construction Investment Project Management Board. The project started on February 26, 2025 and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.

Mr. To Van Linh - Site Engineer of Hiep Phong Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company - the main contractor of the resettlement project said: "Up to now, about 70% of the project site has been cleared. After more than 1 month of construction, our unit has leveled and removed the organic soil for the cleared site area; at the same time, we are carrying out parallel construction of drainage ditch excavation, iron processing, on-site concrete casting... The unit is arranging 40 workers to work 2 shifts/day and a full system of vehicles, equipment, and materials to serve the project construction.

Currently, there is still about 30% of the remaining project site that has not been cleared. The construction unit hopes that local authorities will soon carry out the clearance and hand over the clean site so that the construction unit can carry out the work to ensure the project's progress as planned.
