Accordingly, from the beginning of October 2024, Tan Long Group successfully exported 1,000 tons of high-quality JAPONICA rice under the A An brand to the Japanese market - the most demanding market in the world.

Speaking to VNA at the event, representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Charge d'Affaires Nguyen Duc Minh, said that Vietnamese rice has begun to receive high appreciation from demanding markets such as the US, Europe, South Korea, and Japan. These markets have increased Vietnam's rice import output year by year.

Bringing Vietnamese rice into the Japanese market has continued to affirm Vietnam's determination to improve the quality of national agricultural products, confidently conquering demanding markets, including Japan. This is considered an optimistic signal not only for Tan Long Group, but also for the rice export industry in particular and agricultural products in general of Vietnam.

“The cooperation in rice production and import-export has vividly and practically demonstrated the friendship between Vietnam and Japan ,” Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh shared, hoping that in the near future, more Vietnamese agricultural products will be brought to Japanese consumers.

Also at the event, Mr. Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of Tan Long Group sent his thanks to Japanese partners as well as Vietnamese farmers and cooperatives in the Mekong Delta who, together with Tan Long's staff, cultivated according to technical standards to control residues so that Tan Long Group had the opportunity to introduce quality Vietnamese rice products to Japanese consumers with Japanese partners.

Mr. Truong Sy Ba affirmed that Tan Long Group always strives to ensure that Vietnamese agricultural products can meet the most stringent conditions of customers around the world.

“The launch of Vietnam’s second rice brand in Japan shows that Tan Long is constantly striving to improve rice quality. In the coming time, Tan Long will strive to not only stop at ST25, Japonica but also many other rice lines under the AAN brand - a Vietnamese domestic brand that will gradually conquer demanding markets such as Japan, Korea, the US, and Europe,” Mr. Truong Sy Ba expressed his expectations.

In 2022, 100 tons of Vietnamese rice will be officially sold for the first time in supermarkets and stores in the Japanese market. This event marks an important milestone when Vietnamese rice officially appears on the dining tables of Japanese families. This is a good sign for Vietnamese rice exported to Japan in the future.
