(HNMO) - On May 16, Vietnam Airlines announced that from May 20, the airline will officially operate direct flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Mumbai (India), and at the same time deploy online check-in service for passengers departing from Mumbai airport.
Accordingly, when checking in online via the website www.vietnamairlines.com or the Vietnam Airlines mobile application between 24 hours and 1 hour before the scheduled departure time, passengers will receive an "Online Boarding Pass" via electronic devices or can print the pass themselves. Then, passengers go to the online check-in counter at Mumbai airport for staff to quickly verify the boarding pass and check their identification documents.
With the goal of becoming a 5-star international airline and a digital airline, Vietnam Airlines is striving to deploy online check-in services simultaneously at all airports it operates.
To date, Vietnam Airlines Group passengers can check-in online at all domestic airports and 31 international airports including London Heathrow (UK); Frankfurt (Germany); Moscow (Russia); Tokyo Narita, Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya, Fukuoka (Japan); Seoul, Busan (Korea); Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Beijing, Hangzhou (China); Hong Kong (China); Taipei, Kaohsiung (Taiwan - China); Singapore (Singapore); Bangkok (Thailand); Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Yangon (Myanmar); Jakarta, Bali (Indonesia); Siem Reap, Phnom Penh (Cambodia); Luang Prabang, Vientiane (Laos); Sydney, Melbourne (Australia); Mumbai (India).
From May 20, Vietnam Airlines will operate 4 flights per week on the Hanoi – Mumbai route and 3 flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh City – Mumbai route. The flights will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.
